6 HEALTH & FITNESS PODCASTS (1)

Are you tired of the usual health & fitness books, and self help books? Then look no further because I’m about to share with 6 of my favorite health and fitness podcasts that have helped become apart of my daily routine. Each of these podcasts have provided me with informative information about health, nutrition, dieting, and personal development. Each of these podcasts can be found on spotify!

1. OPTIMAL HEALTH DAILY 

This podcast was created by Dr. Neal Malik, for those who are looking to change their life one step at a time. On this podcasts, he reads health and fitness blogs, with the authors permission of course. These blogs include information about diet, nutrition, fitness and wellness.

2. OPTIMAL LIVING DAILY 

This podcast was created by Justin Malik, the brother of Dr. Neal Malik who runs the optimal healthy daily podcast. On this podcast you will be read the best informative content based on personal development, minimalism, and productivity. While this podcast doesn’t specifically pertain to health and fitness, it  does with productivity and personal development which I would consider to have an overall affect on health.

 

3. THE GYMWITS

This is the newest podcast I have been enjoying. This podcast is created by Ryan George, it discusses fitness, health, nutrition and exercise. He discusses everything from DIY eating plans, nutrition for endurance training, and Q&A sessions with dietitians, trainers and more.

4. THERAPY FOR BLACK GIRLS 

This podcast was created for black women by Dr. Joy Harden Bradford. Therapy for Black Girls is a weekly podcast that discusses mental health, personal development, and goes in depth about how we can improve ourselves one step at a time. Make sure to check out session 37:  10 ways to optimize your mental health it’s by far one of my favorites!

5. THE ULTIMATE HEALTH PODCAST 

This podcast was created by Dr. Jesse Chappus and Marni Wasserman. On this weekly podcast you can find interviews with health and fitness experts. They will discuss topics they are passionate about such as superfoods, fitness, meditation and spirituality.

6. SLEEP WITH ME

Sleep with me is a podcast created by Dearest Scooter. This podcast is meant to help those who just can’t seem to fall asleep at night and their mind is constantly racing. After all sleep is the key to productivity.
